Evidence & Verification

Evidence & Verification

Every impact claim should be traceable

This page defines how Expert365 can move from field data and programme records to public figures that are clear, current and reviewable.

Evidence register

What is currently known

The current site and client brief provide a strong reporting baseline, while detailed source mapping is still required.

Field footprint

Village and school counts should link to an approved site register and reporting date.

Water treated

The cumulative litres figure needs its source system, aggregation rule and reporting period documented.

People served

The definition of ‘served’ and the method for avoiding double counting should be recorded.

Carbon avoidance

The baseline, emission factors, system boundary and update process must be approved.

Verification workflow

Five checks before publication

1. Source

Identify the system, record or document behind the figure.

2. Define

Record the metric definition, unit, boundary and reporting period.

3. Validate

Check completeness, duplicates, anomalies and reconciliation totals.

4. Approve

Obtain named client approval for the method and presentation.

5. Publish

Show the last-updated date, status and explanatory notes.

Transparency commitments

  • Separate reported programme figures from independently verified outcomes.
  • Never infer health, education, gender, employment or energy outcomes from reach alone.
  • Label delayed or unavailable telemetry instead of displaying stale values as live.
  • Keep a visible record of definitions, methodology changes and approval dates.
